Automobile Accident:  September, 2022 -  We settled the case of a 51 year old female involved in a rear end automobile collision who sustained multiple cervical and lumbar disc herniations, underwent multiple pain management injections into her spine, a lumbar percutaneous discectomy and C6/7 disc arthroplasty.  The matter resolved by way of mediation for $700,000.00


Automobile Accident:  August, 2022 We settled the case (both a liability case and underinsured motorist claim) of an 86 year old female who was a passenger in an automobile which was struck in the rear by another vehicle the force of which propelled her vehicle into a vehicle stopped ahead of hers.  Our client sustained multiple cervical and lumbar disc herniations ultimately undergoing a lumbar fusion.  The matter settled for the full amount of liability and underinsured motorist coverage available of $250,000.00.


Pedestrian vs automobile:  July, 2022 - We settled the matter of a 66 year old pedestrian who was struck and knocked down by an automobile while she was crossing the street, in a crosswalk resulting in cervical disc herniations superimposed on degenerative disc disease requiring a multi-level cervical fusion for the amount of $400,000.00. 


Slip and Fall:  December, 2016 -   We settled the case of a 29 year old woman who slipped on an icy condition at her apartment complex and sustained a fractured left leg for $400,000.00.


Automobile accident:  December, 2015 - The case of a man injured in an automobile accident who sustained multiple orthopedic injuries was settled with the underinsured motorist carriers for $525,000.00


Workplace accident:  November, 2014 - The case of a 50 year old roofing subcontractor who was injured on a jobsite was resolved against the general contractor.  The client sustained injuries to both shoulders requiring surgery.  The case settled for $460,000.00. 


Drunk driving accident:  September, 2014 -  The case of a 42 year old motorcyclist with a blood alcohol reading of .151 who was injured in a collision with another vehicle was resolved against the establishment that served him the alcohol prior to operating his motorcycle for the sum of $650,000.00.  The client sustained significant orthopedic injuries as a result of the collision.


Auto Accident Settlement:  The case of a 78 year old woman injured while operating her automobile which was struck by another vehicle which ran a stop sign was settled for $235,000.00 prior to trial.  Our client underwent surgeries to both shoulders and both knees.  The total settlement was paid by the at fault driver and the client's underinsured motorist carrier.


Auto Accident Settlement:  June 2012 - The client a passenger in an automobile involved in an intersection accident who sustained internal injuries and a fractured skull settled the case for $290,000.00 which was the full amount of the available insurance coverage.


Supreme Court Ruling:  June, 2, 2011 -  The New Jersey Supreme Court upheld our client, a drunk driver's, right to sue the establishment that served him alcohol while he was visibly intoxicated, left the establishment and was involved in an accident while operating his motorcycle.  In a 5-2 decision the state's highest court said Frederick Voss, 47 of Brick is not barred by state law from suing Tiffany's Restaurant on Route 37 in Toms River, where he had been drinking on November 9, 2006 before being injured in a motorcycle accident on Hooper Avenue in Toms River.  Voss vs. Tranquilino, 206 NJ 93(2011)

Motorcycle Accident Settlement:  August, 2010 - We settled the case of a motorcyclist injured in an intersection accident for $1,000,000.00.


Motorcycle Accident Jury Verdict: September, 2008 - A jury in Monmouth County awarded the gross amount of $350,000.00 to our client, a motorcyclist injured in an accident.  The award was reduced by the plaintiff's 50% comparative negligence resulting in a net award of $175,000.00.  the Defendant appealed the verdict and the verdict was upheld by the appellate court.
